New feature: custom dashboards

With the new custom dashboard feature you can have your own dashboards that show exactly what you care about. A custom dashboard reduces time spent looking for information and give people with different roles a custom set of data insights.

The dashboard below is an example dashboard for plant managers in the manufacturing industry. With this dashboard they get a quick overview of their main warehouses and see directly in which production step the assets are.

On the platform every user can start creating their own dashboard, customized to their needs, and can share it with other users.

In the next days some reference dashboards will be added to your account. You can use these dashboard, but you can also adapt them or take a copy and modify it to make it more customized. If you never made dashboards yourself this is the perfect starting point.

Improvements to custom dashboard feature

For the customers who already used the custom dashboards in beta version, this are the improvements done to the custom dashboard: in this release:

• Map settings icon on map widget are made smaller as dashboard maps are already small.
• Geozone tags added as filter to geozone visit widget.
• Duration added as column to geozone visit widget.

Until now the custom dashboard was called a Sensolus dashboard, we renamed this type of dashboard to custom dashboard.

Maintenance on the mobile app

The maintenance feature is now added to the mobile app. This makes it easy to access maintenance information and register performed maintenance in the field.

New custom report type: infrastructure status report

A new report is created to export information on infrastructure status.

Emails with alert notifications are improved

Two improvements are made to the email notifications:

• The images are secured.
• An image map with the asset location when the alert was raised is added to the email.

Automated or manual definition of bins for dwell time of assets in a geozone

In the Geozone visit duration histogram you can now choose between automatic bins and manual bins.

The dwell time of assets in a geozone is defined upon the calculation of the duration of the geozone visit of an asset. Next to the automated bin definition (of the geozone vistit duration) you can now create your own bins. The goal of this feature is to make it possible to take out outliners.

Group by duration of geozone visits

The group-by function on columns have been extended with a group by duration of geozone visits.

Column filtering: AND logic added

Multi-value fields (like asset tags) can be filtered in the asset list. This currently is always a default. Now the AND logic is added as a filtering option as shown in the image below.

Update of UI of tracker settings page

In line with the update of the asset page (release 5.5.7) we now updated the interface of the Admin Tracker settings page. The goal of the redesign of the asset tracker page is to make it easier to find the information you need.

The new tracker settings page looks as following:

Maintenance access API call added

Now you can also retrieve maintenance state and record maintenance over the dev API.

The following API calls are now available for maintenance:

Utilization state access over API call added

Now you are able to retrieve the utilization metrics over dev API.

The following API calls are now available for utilization:

API quota reached notification

When API quota is reached, this is currently silent. From now on the 'technical responsible' of the organization will get a notification of the API quota reach.

Script templates added for webhooks

The lay-out of the webhook page is now more clearly structured. In addition, templates of webhook scripts are added as examples to facilitate the usage of webhooks.
