Release notes of platform release 5.6.15
Device configuration made simpler
When configuring a device sometimes the choice of options in a profile can be overwhelming. In order to simplify this we have split the options into standard options and advanced options.
In order to access the advanced options use the toggle button at the top of the dialog.

Better duration filter
The filter for duration fields got improved. Before the unit was always in minutes. Now you can choose what works best: minutes, hours, days or years.

Tags on sensors and infrastructure devices
Devices have tags. Those are used to filter and drive reports, alert rules etc. Now external sensors and infrastructure devices support tags too.
More control over webhook blacklisting
Webhooks allow to receive push messages when new data arrives on the platform. If the external system is not responding within the timeout it gets blacklisted for an hour. This is done in order to protect the platform. This behavior has always been there but it was not very explicit. Now there is state field which allows to see that a webhook got blacklisted. There is also a mechanism to clear the flag. That can come in handy when doing maintenance on your system and you want the messaging flow to resume as quickly as possible.

Remember that it is a good idea to register a technical responsible in the organization admin section. That person will receive an email when a webhook endpoint gets blacklisted
Custom from email support
As part of the customization add-on one of the options is to choose a different from-email for all mails sent by the platform.
Configuration of a custom email address involves a verification step to confirm you are the rightful owner of that email address. The UI is now showing the state of this verification: pending / verified / failed.
Utilization report with data aggregated per period
A new utilization report is available which summarizes the utilization data by period (day, week or month) included in the report as individual columns. This report is only available in Excel format.

New dashboard widgets: Tracker diagnostics
You can now add diagnostic data as widgets to a dashboard.

Correction for wrong motion state for specific trackers
With TRACK 1100/1140/1110, there are some problematic edge cases where a STOP message could get lost. For slow moving assets, this resulted in the asset being in a 'moving' state for very long times (multiple days or weeks). We have added an extra measure to reduce this:
The latest firmware release (2.9, which is gradually rolled out to all devices) contains an improvement where the tracker motion state (stopped or moving) is also included in every keep alive message. The cloud logic implemented is to insert a STOP message if a tracker is in motion for more than 24 hour.
