Private Wi-Fi mac resolution: metrics on unresolved MAC addresses

Wi-Fi location resolution often works great in most urban and industrial environments, but it is not always perfect (see also: )Wi-Fi localization.

To assist you in troubleshooting Wi-Fi resolution problems, the platform now automatically records whenever an access point MAC address cannot be resolved to a location. The statistics are accessible in the web portal, allowing you to identify the most frequently encountered MAC addresses that cannot be resolved.

Asset activity overview based on ignition signal for vehicle trackers

The Activity tab of an asset, provides high-level insights on how often an asset has been used over time. For battery-powered trackers connected to non-powered assets, this builds on the accelerometer and the storing of START and STOP events in the location history.

Externally powered trackers (for example TRACK-12xx series trackers) installed in vehicles detect when the engine ignition is on, which is also a very good metric to estimate the activity over time. With this release, this ignition status can be used to visualize the activity of these trackers.

Audit key activities with the audit log

An initial version of the audit log has been added to the Sensolus platform. The purpose of the audit log is to allow administrators to view important changes to tracker and platform configuration. This will help to diagnose problems or can also be used for security purposes.

Note that this is just an initial release, and only a limited number of asset modification events are updated. In the subsequent releases,this feature will be further improved.
