Platform release notes 5.5.6

New report: custom data history

Custom data can be added to a tracker. This business data can come from ERP-systems or manually via input via the mobile forms. To make this work you first need to create a custom data channel on the platform. This feature exist already since a long time but lived until now under different names (custom business data, external data, 3rd party data,..). In this release we aligned the vocabulary and created a new report type. From now on you can also download the history of custom data of a tracker(s) via the report function.

New report: maintenance status report

The maintenance status report is available.

Information on distance and total time added to flow information

When looking at the flow details you now also get information on the distance traveled. The distance is calculated as the sum of the distances between subsequently visited geozones.

In the UI you know get the following information on the flow:

  • Detected entry
  • Detected exit
  • Total duration
  • Total distance

Insights on private Wi-Fi resolutions

On the private Wi-Fi information screen, you now also get information on the number of times the Wi-Fi access point was used to capture a location. The counts starts from the moment this feature is active (this release) and increases whenever the MAC address of the AP is used.

Don't forget to select the column 'hit count' in the list.

Maintenance

Some additional changes are made to the maintenance service. The documentation on maintenance is now aligned with the existing situation.

Geozone alert: select the status of the asset on which you want the alert to be raised

When creating a geozone alert (for example, an inside geozone alert) you must select the geozones for which you want to monitor the activity of your assets. Next to selecting the geozones and time period you can now also select the state the asset should be in for the alert to be given. For example, you select STOP if you only want to alert to be sent if the asset has stopped. You can select different event types if you prefer.

Alert dashboards: new filter and widgets

On the active alert dashboard and historical alert dashboard a new filter and two new widgets are added, both related to better follow up of the alerts by your team. First, the acknowledgment of an alerts and second, the commenting and assignment of an alert to someone.

Customize offline status of tags

Tags never get an Offline status by default. From now on it is possible to also let tags go offline. If you want to have an offline status for tags, please contact Sensolus support for configuration.
