Platform release 5.4.04
Geozone import and export
Geozones can now be imported and exported, using the Excel file format. This makes it easier to initialize a large set of geozones, or to update large numbers of geozones. See Import or export geozones to learn how to use this new feature.
Private Wi-Fi mac resolution: include street addresses
Private Wi-Fi mac resolution can be used to improve the accuracy of Wi-Fi location resolution, when public resolution is not accurate enough or not available for your site.
From now on, an address can optionally be added to the private MAC addresses list. Locations that ‘snap’ to this MAC, will use this address instead doing of a reverse lookup that isn't always accurate. This can be useful for large sites, where the street address is not really relevant or accurate.
For more information, see Manage Private Wi-Fi resolution.
Username in invitation email
The username is now included in the invitation email. Before, it was not always clear to new end-users which username they had to enter to login to the Web Portal.
Extra columns in 'Organizations report’ and 'user information report'
Some fields were not exported in reports, while they are available in the API. We have aligned this inconsistency.
The User Information report can now also export the following additional columns:
- User id
- Visibility Filters
- Profile
The Organization report now also exports the 'Organization ID' column.
