Personal settings

View and edit the personal settings of your account on the Sensolus platform.

Your personal settings let you customize some elements of the Sensolus platform to your liking, such as the user interface language, timezone, profile image and default landing page.

To access your personal settings, click on user name or user profile image in the toolbar in the upper-right corner of the screen and select Personal Settings. The following screen appears:

Following settings can be defined by and for a user:

Field name	Settings
Username	The username is unique and cannot be changed.
Full name	Name of the user
Profile image	A personal avatar or picture can be uploaded
Email	Email address of the user. Can be changed but should be verified via email.
Password	Password can be changed here. Will also be verified via email.
Select language	The platform language can be set to English, English (Europe), Dutch, German, Spanish and French. English (Europe) is an exact copy of English but with a different data format (see below). We do not guarantee full translation of the platform in all languages.
Date format	The date format depends on the user language. English (Europe) comes with a 24H format (for example: 21 December 2022 09:02), English comes with a 12H format (for example: December 21, 2022 9:02 AM).
Time zone	Time zone of the user
First day of the week	In the data filters or visualizations use Monday or Sunday as first day of the week.
Unit temperature	Choice between degrees of Celsius or Fahrenheit for temperature measurements.
Unit distance	Choice between kilometers or miles as unit of distance.
Notifications	If you don't want to get in-platform notifications you should select Hide notifications. Then no notifications will appear when clicking on
