Environmental sensing alerts & reports

Which alerts and reports can be created on environmental sensors.

The platform provides 5 orientation alerts and 1 external BLE sensor alert:

  • In orientation state: this alert rule detects when the tracker orientation state matches selected states.
  • Not in orientation state: this alert rule detects when tracker orientation state is not in selected states.
  • Too long in orientation state: this alert rule detects when tracker orientation state is too long in selected states.
  • Too long not in orientation state: this alert rule detects when tracker orientation state is too long not in selected states.
  • Orientation event alert: this alert rule is raised each time orientation event change is detected.
  • Sensor value: this alert rule detects when sensor value is in match/exceeds or is below a specific value.
  • Shock alert: this alert detects when the asset experiences a shock. A shock is predefined in the tracker profile (in trackers build upon the SNT4platform only)
  • Used but not charged: This alert detects when an asset is used but not charged. It is mandatory to have a clamp sensor (SENSE CUR 4600)

The platform also provides three default reports to better understand the external BLE sensors and orientation of the trackers:

  • External BLE sensor report: contains the sensor values within a specific duration.
  • Orientation event: contains records for every moment that an orientation event occurred.
  • Orientation status: contains records for every moment that an orientation status change occurred.
  • Shock event: contains records for every moment that a shock event occured
